The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says the 45-year-old man wanted for killing his estranged wife was caught Sunday.Alex Olivencia-Alvarado is charged with first-degree murderHe is accused in the shooting death of Michelle Rodriguez-LaracuenteRELATED: Osceola deputies seek man in killing of wifeAlex Olivencia-Alvarado captured after a week-long search.Investigators say the Orange County Sheriff’s Office made contact with Olivencia-Alvarado Sunday and he was charged on a first-degree murder charge.He was transported to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office and detectives say he was cooperating.A firearm was recovered during Olivencia-Alvarado’s arrest, deputies stated in a press release.Investigators say Olivencia-Alvarado shot and killed his estranged wife, 42-year-old Michelle Rodriguez-Laracuente, last week in her Kissimmee home.According to the Sheriff’s Office, the couple had children together and the two had a history of domestic violence.Olivencia-Alvarado was booked into the Osceola County Jail where he could face a judge Monday on that first-degree murder charge.
