Wall St. opens higher as tech stocks rise


(Reuters) – Wall Street’s main indexes opened higher on Wednesday, led by gains in technology and consumer discretionary stocks and ahead of the release of minutes of the Federal Reserve’s recent policy meeting. The Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI rose 36.99 points, or 0.15 percent, to 25,001.74. The S&P 500 .SPX gained 6.61 points, or 0.243349 percent, to 2,722.87.
